Racers for me. Mostly due to me finding them utterly boring. I'm just not willing to put the time in. But ya, Racers.
They're barking up the wrong tree with this one.
@Nitrowolf2
I still have my original NES box :)
I always dug Elena. Would like to see a game about her. She's a reporter so you could really put her into any hotspot around the globe.
If it had a Game Boy Advance cartridge slot I'd say yes. IMO GBA had the best collection of games. Unfortunately it never really had a nice back lit screen.
Never understood why a developer MUST be "likeable" in order to enjoy a game he/she made. Who cares if he's a douche? Are you hanging out with him on the weekends having a beer? Do you have to sit and endure Christmas dinner with him? No. Look at the huge amount of actors that are complete jerks in real life. You still enjoy their movies. I can think of two of my favorite authors who are quite frankly not very nice people in real life but boy can they write a book.
@Gamingcapacity
In the late 70's early 80's I'd say there were a ton of gamers. We had Odyssey, Atari, Intellivesion, Colico Vision, etc. Also it was the heyday of the arcade where you would meet all your friends there on Saturday to beat the high score in Pac Man or Donkey Kong or whatever (I myself ruled with a iron fist at DigDug). All this before the NES even hit the streets. It's really hard to describe the "magic" of that era without being ther...
I'm 41. My sister is 37. We both play video games. I think it's easy for people to forget that a lot of people who grew up with playing video games in the late 70's and 80's are now in their mid 30's to late 40's. For us playing a video game is just as common as watching a movie or reading a book if you want some entertainment.
Lol....
First thing I thought of was that scene in Ghostbusters where the reporter is talking on the street and that dude with the jean jacket and beard walks into the shot and stairs at the camera looking at what's going on.
And of course this site won't let me post a link...
Thank god Gearbox isn't making it.
To this day he continues to spout his BS over A:CM. Now, from a legal standpoint, I don't expect him to apologize for anything and admit culpability. Especially with the pending lawsuit. But this guy just cannot SHUT UP. He just cannot keep his MOUTH SHUT and quit dumping rocket fuel on the fire.
I don't care if his next game is a 11/10. I will never give money to Gearbox again. Simply on nothing more than principle. Randy Pitchford is a modern day snake oil salesman....
Rich executives usually fail upward.
And if you don't like Zynga you can buy a 360 -_-
Thanks Megane. I was wondering also.
+bubble for your trouble.
"I come here for the girls"
AMEN
That's his full name.
That was what I was assuming would be done as well: Re-render the original videos to a higher definition.
A smart company has saved all their original data and can go back and utilize it. I have no idea if Square is a smart company though lol.
I don't work in video games but I do do 3D automotive design and I know that I can pull up 3D design data from 20 years ago if I want.
@Xof
I believe that's because the game was not rendering the scene real time and instead was playing a pre-generated video file. The only way to get around that would be to remake the video file using new HD assets (which I would have liked to have seen done) which might have been cost prohibitive. I don't "think" FFX did that but it has been a decade since I played it. Unless your speaking about the cinematic movies. Those should be ok.

@evilhasitsway
Already trying that.

He didn't make the music. He does have the composers on board that did however :)
